Domestic tourism-
Domestic Tourism is when a person travels within their country of residence for tourism purposes.

Inbound tourism-
Inbound Tourism is when a person travels into a country which is not their own for a temporary period of time.

Outbound tourism-
Outbound Tourism is when a person travels out of a country which is not their country of residence for the purposes of tourism.

LEISURE trip-
When someone travels for the purpose of having a holiday, to see cultural events, recreational activities, sports and to relax. These tourists are likely to have booked a package holiday so they will stay in luxury hotels for 1 or 2 weeks.
Business trips-
When someone travels for the purposes of business such as attending a business meeting. These tourists are likely to stay in a budget hotel which is able to accommodate for business and will only stay for a couple of nights.
vfr (VISITING family/friends)-
When someone travels in order to visit friends or family. These types of tourists are likely to stay in the homes of their family members or friends and will probably stay for a few weeks.
Educational visits-
When someone travels for purposes of study. These types of tourists are likely to stay in cheap hotels or hostels and stay for a few days.
Public Sector-
The Public Sector is made up of businesses which are owned and funded by the national and local government. Their aims are to educate, inform and provide a service to its customers.

Private Sector-
The Private Sector is made up of businesses that are individually owned and not by the state. Their main objective is to make a profit.

Voluntary sector-
The Voluntary Sector are usually charities or trusts which are funded through their members, entrance fees to attractions, fundraising, sponsorship and donations. Their aims are to protect, preserve and promote their cause.

Sustainable-
Preserving and protecting something so it has minimal long term effects on the environment for future generations.
Interrelate-
When two or more businesses or organisations become connected to each other.
Chain of distribution-
The movement of products or services between organisations.
INTEGRATION-
When businesses or organisations combine and work together.
INTERDEPENDENCE-
When organisations and businesses rely and depend on eachother.
